Tell us about yourself:

I graduated from the University of Colorado in 2008 with a degree in English Literature and Elementary Education. After graduation, I taught fourth grade for a year before moving to New York City. I graduated from The New School in 2012 with an M.A in TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). After graduation, I taught kindergarten in San Francisco for two years before moving back to Denver. This is my 10th year teaching and my 7th year in kindergarten.



Why do you work at Denver JDS?

Kindergarten at Denver JDS is an incredibly magical time where the classrooms are filled with learning and kindness and the kids are excited to come to school every day. The combination of Hebrew and Judaic Studies along with enriching general studies is a very unique balance. I absolutely love the community at Denver JDS, and I feel very lucky to teach here!

In my free time, I love running with my dog Gwynnie, playing with my niece and nephew, reading, and writing.
