On Monday, August 21, 2023, Denver Jewish Day School officially launched its Pre-Kindergarten program. The Denver JDS Class of 2037 stepped foot into the brand-new classroom and cut the ribbon for the newly built Pre-K playground.

"This is an exciting time for our younger students at DJDS," said Pre-K Director, Jodie Applebaum. "Expanding our early childhood education is a massive step for the school."

The DJDS Class of 2037 consists of 9 students currently, and there will be many adorable photos of this inaguaral Pre-K class coming soon! Ms. Meredith Pryor and Ms. Ali Weinberg joined Denver JDS as the Pre-K teachers, bringing years of experience in early childhood education to our Pre-K classrooms.

"Jewish day schools across the country have been implementing Pre-K programs into their programs for the past decade plus," said Head of School/CEO, Avi Halzel. "After years of research, careful consideration, and very detailed planning, it's so rewarding to see this beautiful Pre-K classroom and playground, and the DJDS Class of 2037 enjoying every element of it."
