More Ways to Give

"Thank you for donating your Nuggets tickets to the Giving Tree at Denver JDS. I was the lucky winner of the tickets. What a treat! As a teacher, it's hard to make time during the year to enjoy such events, so it was really nice to be able to use them on a day off."
 — Rebekah Kochavi, First Grade Teacher

Supporting Denver Jewish Day School is easier than you think. In addition to our Annual Campaign, Chai Five Club, Annual Dinner, Legacy Society, and Endowment, there are other ways to support our school. Every day activities and in-kind donations can have a big impact at Denver JDS. Contact Director of Development Krista Boscoe at (720) 449-9552 or kboscoe@denverjds.org to learn more about the following options.

Easy Ways To Support Denver JDS

King Soopers Card

It's easy (and free) to support our school when you shop at King Soopers. Just pay for your groceries (and even your gas) with our school-tagged Soopers card, and 5% of every purchase goes directly to Denver JDS. And if that's not enough, we've pre-loaded Denver JDS-tagged cards with $2.50 to get you started.

Giving Tree

Our Giving Tree program is the perfect way to thank the Denver JDS faculty and staff for being such dedicated and talented teachers. Parents and community members can donate items like tickets to sporting events (Broncos, Avs, Nuggets, and Rockies tickets are always welcome), merchandise gift cards, concert tickets, theater tickets, and restaurant certificates. These donations are then offered to our faculty and staff through a lottery.

Gifts of Stock

If you have appreciated assets, donate your stock to Denver JDS — either as a new gift or a way to pay down pledges. Click here for simple instructions for donating or transferring stock.

Volunteer

Denver Jewish Day School has a long tradition of including parents and community volunteers in roles that play an integral part of our mission. It is because of people like you that our school can offer extraordinary, academic enrichment in a nurturing, values-driven environment. Whether you can volunteer once a week, once a month, or once a year, your talents and time are necessary and appreciated.

The Development Committee, chaired by Lisa Engbar, welcomes participants. Our monthly meetings are full of great discussions and shared idea. Click here for the 2018-19 schedule.

For this and other development volunteer opportunities, please contact our Development Director Krista Boscoe at (720) 449-9552 (direct), (303) 919-0812 (cell), or kboscoe@denverjds.org.
