Annual Dinner

Our Annual Dinner is our biggest fundraising event of the year.

Our Annual Dinner is a community-building event that brings together Denver Jewish Day School parents, faculty, staff, alumni, alumni parents, and community supporters. Held in the spring each year, our Annual Dinner is an important opportunity to celebrate the members of our community who have made a lasting impact on our school.

In recent years, funds raised through the Annual Dinner have enabled the school to enhance our mathematics and science curriculum, invest in technology, provide financial aid to families, and ensure opportunities for continued professional growth for our faculty.

What happens at the Annual Dinner?

The Annual Dinner is an adults-only evening with cocktails, dinner, and a silent auction. Proceeds support the school’s Annual Campaign, which covers the 25% of the budget not covered by tuition revenue.

When does the Annual Dinner take place?

Starting in the fall, parents, along with friends of the honorees are asked for their support as volunteers, table captains, and underwriters, and by procuring high-value auction items. The 2024-25 Annual Dinner took place on March 10, 2025.

Who supports the Annual Dinner?

The Annual Dinner is a partnership between the Denver JDS Development Office and dedicated volunteers. This annual fundraising event draws support from Denver JDS families, local businesses, and beyond.  The 2022-23 Annual Dinner, our co-chairs were Brian and Haidi Demain, and Trina and Scott Reisch. For the 2023-24 Annual Dinner, our co-chairs were Brian and Haidi Demain, and Dr. Brad and Sara Nieder. For the 2024-25 Annual Dinner, our co-chairs were Ali & Dr. Josh Metzl, and Dr. Brad and Sara Nieder.
