Giving

It is not what one says, but rather what one does that makes all the difference in the world.
Ethics of Our Fathers 1:17

Denver Jewish Day School is a nonprofit organization that operates without financial support from local or federal taxes. Like most independent schools, Denver JDS relies on annual philanthropic support to balance our budget each year. While tuition is the largest source of revenue at $3.7 million, tuition alone does not cover the complete cost of operating the school. The Denver JDS Annual Campaign provides a critically important source of revenue, nearly 25% of the operating budget (or $1.4 million) which supports our faculty, financial aid, curriculum innovation, and campus upkeep.

The success of our school depends on generous investments of time and financial resources from every member of our community — parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, friends, faculty, and community benefactors.

Support for Denver Jewish Day School through annual giving, leadership giving, endowment giving, and volunteering helps our joyful Jewish community to continue to advance m'dor l’dor, from generation to generation.

When you give to Denver JDS, you are helping to maintain and grow a Jewish educational institution that delivers an academically demanding education rooted in Jewish history, ethics, and principles. Each year, our Development Team operates our Annual Campaign, which includes our multi-year giving society (Chai Five Club), Annual Dinner, and other fundraising efforts — giving all members of our community a variety of different ways to support our school.
