What Parents Say:
As a public school teacher and then school district leader, I chose our neighborhood school when my kids were starting kindergarten. We decided to switch to DJDS two years ago and have never looked back. In addition to getting an excellent secular education, which includes smaller classes, more personalized education and rich Judaics, my family is now part of a close-knit and supportive community that has enriched our lives beyond what we could have ever imagined. – Kelli Pfaff (Levi, class of 2028 and Aviva, class of 2031)
I was worried that my teenage daughter would have a hard time transitioning from Israel to DJDS, but we’ve been welcomed and made to feel part of the DJDS family since we arrived. My shy daughter loves going to school here. Sometimes she is stressed out by homework and exams, but she goes to school every day with joy and positive energy. She feels safe to approach her teachers and ask for help, which shows that the teachers and school staff are doing something right. We even got help from the school with the financial aid form, for which I am so grateful. All the teachers and school staff have helped Reut (and me!) feel like we belong. – Keren Lifshitz
