Get To Know Us

The best way to get a feel for Denver Jewish Day School is to see it for yourself!

On any given day, Denver JDS bustles with engaged thinkers, enthusiastic teachers, and plenty of warm smiles. It's easy to see why our students genuinely love coming to school each day. There are numerous opportunities throughout the school year to visit our campus and see our talented teachers and amazing students in action. We also welcome visits during the summer.

While many schools offer open houses, at Denver JDS we believe the best way for you to experience our school is through a private tour tailored to you. Lower Division tours (grades K-5) are for adults only and last about 1.5 hours. Middle and high school applicants (grades 6-12) are invited to attend the tour with their parents. Following each tour, families will have an opportunity to meet with Director of Admission Shayna Friedman, who can answer questions and review the application process.

Tours are by appointment and should be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance. To schedule a tour, please call the Office of Admission at (720) 449-9522 or email Admission Coordinator Brittany James at for additional information.

Prospective families with children ages five and under are invited to join us for Sunday FUNday each fall, this year on Sunday, November 4, 2018. At this morning of play and learning, get a taste of our kindergarten experience, meet with our kindergarten team, and learn about the Denver Jewish Day School community. Registration available soon.
