Student Shadowing
Lower Division Grades 1-5
Students applying for grades 1-5 will schedule a half day visit to Denver JDS in their current grade. Visitors will shadow a student host for the morning, experiencing a day in the life of Denver JDS. The Office of Admission will work with you to schedule this visit after you submit your application. Visitors must show proof of Covid 19 vaccination OR take a Covid Test with Covid Check Colorado 48 hours prior to the visit, and a negative result is required. Covid test results will be shared with Denver JDS by Covid Check Colorado. Negative results from an at-home rapid Covid test are also acceptable on the day of the visit. The Office of Admission will provide all testing instructions once the shadow visit has been scheduled. At the end of their visit, students will be sent home with a box lunch from our campus caterer (dietary laws observed).
We invite you to schedule your student's shadow visit by contacting Shayna Friedman, director of admission, at 720-449-9550 or sfriedman@denverjds.org.
