Teach every child according to his way.
— Proverbs 22:6

Children learn in different ways.

All children have the right to an education, yet there are times when students experience barriers to learning. These barriers may be related to English language acquisition, a learning disorder, behavior challenges, attentional issues, or social-emotional concerns. The Student Services Team works to identify, assess, and intervene when students are experiencing challenges to help them reach their full potential.

At Denver Jewish Day School we meet students' individualized needs while simultaneously empowering and enriching their educational experience.

We consider each child’s individual interests, strengths, and challenges while recognizing that each child brings with him or her differing background experiences, academic skill levels, social emotional experiences, language proficiency, interests, and ideas.
