Biography:

Ms. Kelly has been enjoying a great adventure in education for over twenty years! She looks thrilled to return to DJDS as the Special Services Coordinator for the Learning Resource Center. She grew up in Martinsburg, West Virginia with her parents and younger brother. At a young age, she enjoyed tennis and fishing. She managed summer camps for Parks and Recreation during her teenage years. She attended West Virginia University, earning a Masters Degree in Elementary Education, Special Education, and certification in English as a Second Language. Over the years, she has enjoyed the roles and responsibilities as a classroom teacher, learning specialist, adjunct professor, coordinator, and tutor in the public and private sectors. She balances teaching with golf, working out, skiing, biking, music, dining out, movies, art (fairy hair), and the outdoors.

Biography:

Ms. Stephanie has been at DJDS for more than seven years, both in the classroom and as a specialist. Before coming to DJDS, she taught at elementary schools in Greeley and Denver. Ms. Stephanie has a Masters Degree in Teaching Diverse Learners (Special Education and Multilingual Students) and is passionate about helping all students feel successful both in and out of the classroom setting. She is a Denver native who attended Denver Public Schools, graduating from George Washington High School in 2009. Outside of school, Ms. Stephanie is the Program Coordinator for an outside tutoring company and enjoys sitting in her hammock reading any book that she can get her hands on. She loves to teach math and reading as well as outdoor adventure skills like orienteering and flora identification. Ms. Stephanie genuinely loves the DJDS community and relishes that they immediately made her feel like she belonged.
