Gifted Learner Program

The Gifted Learner Program (GLP) focuses on meeting the academic and social/emotional needs of highly gifted students at Denver Jewish Day School. The GLP identifies and provides programs for students who possess exceptional creativity of thought and reasoning, cognitive abilities or intellectual strengths.

Gifted Learner Program staff, Elana Shapiro and Anna Tinker Whistler, work directly with students and collaborate with classroom teachers to implement a variety of research-based strategies that provide opportunities emphasizing an appropriately challenging learning environment for every gifted learner.
